Daniel Desbruyres – Ifremer researcher

Daniel is a researcher Desbruyres Senior at Ifremer, responsible for directing the research program on the deep hydrothermal ecosystems. The ecology of the deep ocean environments and taxonomy of worms are his areas of expertise. He began his career in 1970 by the study of continental shelf of Spanish Catalonia, and then studied for six years, the marine fauna of the continental shelf of the Kerguelen Islands archipelago.
