A team of researchers from the National Center for Agricultural Research (NARC)Â has discovered a vaccine that can immunize plants against green pepper mosaic virus, which ravaged the Japanese culture. The peppers are exposed to a weakened form of the virus to the state of young shoots, allowing them to effectively defend themselves against the more virulent forms in adulthood.
You can retain unique approach in agriculture plant of this vaccine which also presents several advantages. (more…)

Process by which a plasmid is used to import recombinant DNA into a host cell for cloning.
Many diseases are caused by gene alterations. Our understanding of genetic diseases was greatly increased by information gained from DNA cloning. In DNA cloning, a DNA fragment that contains a gene of interest is inserted into a cloning vector or plasmid.

The cloning and its benefits for Humanity
After describing the structure of cells and their operation, we will discuss the use of stem cells, specific cells used for therapeutic cloning.
We begin by defining what a clone.
Ethymologie: The word comes from the Greek clone: klon which means “small part” or “shoot”.
The clone is defined as a set of cells or living organisms derived from each other by an asexual reproduction. (more…)
